An Energy Performance Certificate will tell you how energy efficient your property is on a scale of A-G. It is very similar to the certificate that can be found on many domestic appliances such as fridges, freezers and microwaves. The most efficient homes (which should have the lowest fuel bills) are in band A with band G an inefficient rating (meaning higher fuel bills). |

How is an Energy Assessment carried out? Our fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor will carry out an energy assessment on your property. This will include information on energy generating features such as heating systems, insulation, wall and roof construction etc. The floor areas in the property will be measured along with information obtained on lighting and type of bulbs used. All the information from the assessment is then uploaded into specially approved software which will generate a SAP rating and charts for Energy Efficiency and Environmental Impact rating CO2 scale.
